About
I provide a Creative and Safe environment for learning!
I’m Mirianna, an audio specialist based in Bristol, UK. I set up Audio Tutor as a way to help like-minded people improve their skillset, and become successful music makers, sound designers & audio engineers.
With a strong passion to make the music industry a more inclusive environment, I pride myself on providing a safe, friendly space for people to learn freely, without judgement.
My own journey into audio started with a degree in Music Technology, and I’ve been teaching for over seven years since. I also work actively in the industry, recording and producing bands and artists around Bristol and London, so
everything I teach comes from real, hands-on experience rather than just theory.
Every student learns differently, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Lessons are built around your goals, whether that’s finishing a track, learning a new skill like mixing or music theory from scratch, or working
towards something bigger like a portfolio or your first release. I teach across all the major DAWs, so you’re never limited to one piece of software.
I’m also a woman working in a field that’s still largely male-dominated, and I know how much it can help to have a tutor who understands that. Whatever your background or experience level, my aim is to create a space where you feel
comfortable asking questions and making mistakes along the way.
I also have experience teaching students with SEND, including dyslexia, autism, ADHD and anxiety, and I’m always happy to adapt my teaching to whatever helps you, or your child, learn best. You can find out more on my
SEND Support page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. I teach complete beginners through to more advanced students, and lessons are tailored to whatever level you’re at.
No. A laptop, a pair of headphones and free or basic software is enough to get started. I can talk through what’s actually worth investing in later, once you know what direction you’re heading in.
Both. I teach in person from my home studio in Bristol, and online for students anywhere else. Lessons work just as well either way.
I’m not limited to one piece of software, and I don’t think good teaching should be either. I’ve taught using all the major DAWs, and my approach focuses on transferable skills so you’re never stuck relying on one specific program. I can teach using whatever software you already use or prefer.
I teach students of all ages, from young learners through to adults. If you’re booking on behalf of a child, just mention their age when you get in touch so I can make sure everything’s set up appropriately.
Yes. Take a look at my SEND Support page for more on how I adapt lessons.
Every student is different, so lessons are built around your goals. That might mean finishing a specific track, learning a skill like mixing or songwriting from scratch, or working toward something bigger like a portfolio.
It’s a free 30-minute, no-obligation chat where I listen to your song or idea at any stage, help pinpoint what’s not working, and map out next steps. There’s no pressure to book anything afterwards.
Head over to the Pricing page for the full breakdown, whether that’s pay as you go or a discounted monthly package if you’re learning regularly.
I need at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a session free of charge. As a small business, last-minute cancellations genuinely affect my earnings. Lesson packs and individual sessions are non-refundable too. Once you’ve booked a slot, I’ve turned other students away for that time, so I’m not able to fill a refunded session afterwards.
Payment is made by bank transfer. Once you’ve had your free Soundcheck consultation and I’ve chatted through how you’d like to work together, you’ll be invited to sign up. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive an invoice, and your lesson slot is confirmed once it’s paid. That payment tops up your account balance, and once it reaches £0, you can request more sessions and a new invoice will be sent over.
